What are the types of change of ownership?

There are two types of change of ownership:

  • Straight Supersedure - outgoing customer initiates supersedure of service, waives all his rights to the telephone line
  • Supersedure with Clause - incoming customer initiates supersedure of service without the consent of the original customer.

How can I request for change of ownership?

Account should have no outstanding balance including unpaid toll charges and pre-termination fees (PTF), no pending service request, no open dispute, and account is not under treatment.

You may visit our PLDT Home Support Page, select Aftersales Requests, and click on Change Ownership to fill out the web form. Please prepare the following requirements prior to filing your request:

For Straight Supersedure

  • Proof of ID : Government Issued ID (from incoming and outgoing customers)
  • Completed and signed Service Request Form of incoming customer with consent from outgoing customer
  • Letter of Authorization if request is thru an authorized representative 

For Supersedure with Clause

  • Proof of ID : Government Issued ID (from incoming and outgoing customers)
  • Completed and signed Service Request Form of the incoming customer 
  • Signed and notarized Affidavit Form by the incoming customer
  • Deed of Sale (if the PLDT service is included in the sale of the house/property)
  • Death Certificate of outgoing customer if already deceased

How long is the processing for change of ownership?

Processing time is within 24 to 48 hours upon issuance of service order.
