  • In the Next Upgrade Shop page, user log-in (for existing users) or register (for new users) is needed.

How do I install and operate these devices?

  • Installation of these devices is via Do-it-yourself (DIY).
  • Indoor and outdoor camera installation can be done in a few minutes using the screws, mounts, and brackets provided in the packaging.
  • Smart sensors are provided with mounting adhesives for easier setup.
  • First time setup requires TAPO app installation in your Android or iOS mobile devices. (Compatible with iOS 9.0 or higher and Android 4.3 or higher)
  • Step-by-step guides are provided in the TAPO app for:
    1. Adding of new device.
    2. Set-up of wi-fi connection.

How long is the delivery lead time for my ordered kit?

Can I view live/ recorded videos even if I’m outside my home?

  • Yes, you can remotely access devices to watch live or recorded videos even if you’re away from home. Just log-in to your TAPO App, select your home device and choose from the library of recorded events or view actual live stream from the device. If you’re using mobile internet, the app will prompt you that telco charges may apply in streaming the videos.

Can I view live/ recorded videos from multiple cameras at the same time?

  • Yes. Multiple cameras can be viewed simultaneously in the TAPO app. User can view 4 cameras in a single screen, he/she just need to press the split screen view while viewing the live feed. For recorded events, these are sequentially arranged in the app and can be filtered per day/ device/ event type/ detection type for easier browsing.

Can these devices still work even with power interruption?

  • TAPO cameras, hub, and smart plug require to be powered ON at all times.
  • TAPO sensors are battery powered. However, it needs connection to hub in order to communicate to the app.

What microSD card can I use for storage for the eufy Indoor Camera 2K?

  • We recommend using a class 10 high-quality microSD card;
    • TAPO supports up to 512 GB microSD Card.
  • The microSD card must be inserted in the device and formatted in the app before using it to store encrypted video recordings.

Up to to how many days of recording can the microSD card support?

  • The indoor cameras can record for hundreds of hours with a large SD card, with a 128GB card holding approximately 384 hours of 1080p video. The actual duration depends on the SD card size and the recording resolution and settings (e.g. motion detection and foot traffic). When the card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest footage.

What are the uses and advantages of TAPO Smart Hub H100?

  • TAPO Smart Hub H100 acts as the central controller for TAPO smart home devices like contact sensor, humidity & temperature sensor, and motion sensor.   • The TAPO Smart Plug P105 is designed for use with small to medium household appliances that have a power consumption within its maximum rating of 15 amps and 3600 watts. It can be used on lamps, electric fans, TVs, radios, Wi-Fi routers, air purifiers, and other small devices
  • For safety and to avoid fire hazard, appliances that draw high power output and have specific motor-driven loads aren’t suitable for TAPO Smart Plug P105. This include: aircon, refrigerator, flat iron, oven, automatic washing machine, electric heater, etc.
